Powerset was made to change the way search engine goes, the said engine delivers valid result by meaning and not by words. Many buyers shown interests in acquisition of this project, and Microsoft are number 1.

Based on the report, I can say that Powerset is miles away to reach Google, but they have done a small step already by delivering only results from Wikipedia and Freebase.

“We’re changing the way information is searched by doing a much deeper analysis of the pages we index,” Scott Prevost, Powerset’s product director said.

Sounds so promising, but the question is, they will go as what Google did?
