The Future of SEO: “Getting to Nowhere”

What is the future of SEO? I’d been working in JNB Web Promotion (International SEO Company) for over years, I’d been battling to major search engines to be on the top. I know how to used different forms of cloaking and how to cheat search engine, Spamming in short. See how Matt Cutts (Google Lead Spam Engineer) define Spamming:

“Web spam is when somebody tries to cheat or take shortcuts so that their Web site shows up higher [in search results rankings] than it deserves to show up,” - Matt Cutts

But I strongly advise that you shouldn’t do that. Major SE like Google has a smart Web Spiders to know what’s going-on. SEO is all about, tags and meta descriptions, let other people have an incentives to link to you and that’s all. But in my experienced, I can say that it’s not applicable anymore. Google algorithm is paneled by different social screening. Jeremy Schoemaker (SEO expert) said that:

Google SERPS results strongly influenced by Google Toolbar data, Google User history, and Google Analytics data. Googles combination of SEO and social voting via toolbar/history/analytics will continue to sway more in the realm of social voting. - Jeremy Schoemaker.

I agree with him, Google algorithm was ruled by these social voting. So I come-up to a conclusion that tags, meta descriptions, and backlinks building is a little bit out of nowhere, and so SEO will about to be.

Note: Our Company is no longer an SEO based; we’re running now on a new scheme, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) or known as Internet Marketing.

Additional: There’s no solemn confirmation on Major SE’s about this issue, all of this is just based on my own point of view and experienced.
