I’d like to share my 2 cents regarding your early dot com domain question above: I think it depends on what domain name you’re planning to get. If it contains quite a competitive keyword/s, better get it early. But if it’s not that competitive and the reason for delaying registering the domain name with a dot com is due to uncontrollable circumstances, I think it’s okay to wait a bit.
